Kevin Coffey


     Kevin Coffey is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and the Acting
Studio Conservatory in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as a stage veteran of 30 years.  He's performed in a range of theatre from Shakespeare to musicals, drama to comedy.  Since memorizing Bill Cosby and Flip Wilson routines in the fourth grade, Kevin has done stand-up comedy, singing and dancing, writing radio advertisements, DJing and even dressing up like a chicken.
Company history
    
     Coffey Productions started in 1994
educating and entertaining children and adults in church and school.  The Laughing Kids Acting Program taught acting classes to kids who would never have had the money otherwise.

      S.O.U.L.L. delivered Christian comedy to church groups at a reasonable price, performing at over 120 churches in a 4 year period.

      In 1997, George Washington,  takes audience participation, and history and puts thm together for children in the elementary schools.
 
 
      From 1997 to 2005, Kevin spent most of his time being a stay-at-home dad to his two children.  As they transitioned into elementary school, Kevin transitioned into PTO, coaching baseball, basketball and soccer, cub scouts, church and generally using his acting skills wherever he could that would improve their friendships, their schools, their church and their community.
