Why have all schoolchildren been fascinated by George Washington?
 


George Washington gives your school  the opportunity to meet one of the event makers of history. Kids will talk and interact with the first president of the United States. A scripted performance, improvisation and theatre games pulls George Washington out of a book and puts him into your classroom.

What makes George Washington different from other costumed characters that speak at your school? George Washington gives students something to do. Each performance includes audience participation as an integral part of the performance.  The program not only teaches history, but touches on geography, geometry and even dance.
                                                                                                              
Children will get an idea of how government works by being a representative for one of the thirteen colonies. They will learn how to make a survey just as Washington did as a teenager. What were the important factors for Washington in the War for Independence?  George Washington will show you how.
